Kennedy Harvey
Kennedy Harvey is a Legal Assistant at Powell Litigation, where she supports the firm’s lawyers across a range of civil litigation matters. Before entering the legal profession, Kennedy spent seven years working in collegiate athletics, specializing in recruiting operations, compliance, and strategic planning at the NCAA Division I level.
Her experience working within complex regulatory frameworks and high-pressure environments provides a strong foundation for her work in litigation. In fall 2026, Kennedy will begin the inaugural Senior Status LL.B. program at Durham University in the United Kingdom, where she will pursue her law degree before returning to Canada to continue her legal career. She has a particular interest in the intersection of sports and law and hopes to focus her studies and future legal practice in this evolving field.
