Sofia Arias

Sofia Arias is a Legal Assistant at Powell Litigation in Toronto, where she provides administrative and litigation support through file management, document preparation, client correspondence, scheduling, and deadline tracking. As a first point of contact for the firm, Sofia assists clients with the initial intake process, coordinates consultations, and provides ongoing administrative support to the firm’s lawyers.

Before joining Powell Litigation, Sofia worked as a court reporter with Clearly Spoken, where she gained experience with legal proceedings, accurate record-keeping, and handling confidential information. She graduated with distinction from the University of Waterloo in August 2026, completing her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies on an accelerated timeline. Sofia is bilingual in English and Spanish and is currently applying to law school for the 2027 admission cycle.
